Speak Up! Speak Out! Erasing the Stigma of Mental Health
The conversation surrounding mental health has reached a tipping point. While there’s still a lot to be said, recent headlines prove mental illness is less of a closeted topic now than ever before. With one in every five children currently living with a mental illness, it’s time advocates, community groups, celebrities, and lawmakers alike joined forces to finally erase the stigma. NOW IS THE THE TIME! Studies suggest a combination of increased support, awareness, and accessibility to proper care is key to millions of people receiving the help they need and deserve.
On May 8, during the 6th Annual Children’s Mental Health Summit, attendees will hear from different presenters that are working to erase the stigma of mental health in their industry and organizations. Following the Summit on May 9, individuals will have the opportunity to participate in post-conference breakout sessions on a variety of topics.
Continuing education units will be available for the Summit and post-conference breakout sessions.
