Payment
Children’s Mental Health Summit (May 8): There will be a $100/participant fee which covers the cost of materials, breaks, lunch and CEUs. Fees can be paid by check or credit card.

Post-Conference Breakout Sessions (May 9): There will be a $50/participant fee for the breakout sessions. The fee will cover the cost of materials, breaks, and CEUs. There is no fee to attend the Youth Mental Health First Aid workshop.

Please make checks payable to Canopy Children’s Solutions. Submit payment to: Mississippi Children’s Mental Health Summit, c/o Canopy Children’s Solutions, Post Office Box 1078, Jackson, MS 39215. Refunds will not be granted after April 20, 2019.

State agencies can pay through Pay Mode under Mississippi Children’s Home Society. Please submit your registration form with registered participants via fax to 601.968.0021.

Continuing Education Hours

Canopy Children’s Solutions is an approved provider for the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Work & Marriage and Family Therapist: DP#SWB14002, Renewal Date 3-6-20. Social Workers may receive up to 5 Continuing Education clock hours by attending the Wednesday, May 8, 2019, Summit. Social Workers may receive up to 3 Continuing Education clock hours by attending the Thursday, May 9, 2019, breakout sessions.

Canopy Children’s Solutions has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6857. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Canopy Children’s Solutions is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. Licensed Professional Counselors may receive up to 5 Continuing Education clock hours by attending the Wednesday, May 8, 2019, Summit. Counselors may receive up to 3 Continuing Education clock hours by attending the breakout sessions on Thursday, May 9, 2019.

Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) is approved for CEU’s for educators and school resource officers through the Jackson State University School of Lifelong Learning and MS State Department of Public Safety. YMHFA is not approved for continuing education hours for licensed professional counselors (NBCC) or social workers (MBOE).

Canopy Children’s Solutions has submitted application to the Office of Continuing Education at Mississippi College for CEU approval for participants licensed through the Mississippi Department of Education. Educators will receive 0.5 CEU from MS College by attending May 8, 2019.  Educators will receive 0.3 CEU* from MS College for attending May 9, 2019. *Must attend May 8 to be eligible for 0.3 CEU on May 9.

Canopy Children’s Solutions has submitted application to the Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH), Division of Professional Licensure and Certification, for continuing education credit for DMH credentialed professionals.
